Utah Valley University Women’s Hockey is a brand new competitive team at Utah Valley University.  Founded by Utah’s Lina von Hartsfeld and Jodi Moore in the spring of 2018, the team is a culmination of a chance meeting at a rec tournament and is fueled by a burning desire to grow women’s ice hockey in the west.  With coaching and recruiting efforts being led by head coach Stan Weiss and assistant coach Brandon Holmes, it didn’t take long for UVU to accept us into the fold as a club sport at the school.

We call Peaks Ice Arena in Provo, Utah our home, and are humbled to forge our own future on the very ice Utah’s Olympic Legacy was built on.  Just sixteen years after the fact, we’re bringing women’s hockey back to Utah as the first and only collegiate-level women’s team in the state.

UVU Women’s Hockey is incredibly excited to kick off our inaugural season against new and old women’s hockey programs in the west, and can’t wait to see YOU at every event!
